U.S. Chief Claims Officer Named for Navigators Management Co. in N.Y.

Finneran will be responsible for managing all U.S. claims, and will report to Bruce Byrnes, senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Before joing Navigators, Finnernan was recently head of claims at Everest National Insurance Company. Here he oversaw a book of Auto & General Liability, D&O, Professional Liability, General Liability, Property claims, and Workers’ Compensation.

The Navigators Groups is a specialty insurance holding company with operations involving management companies, and operations at Lloyd’s. Navigators headquarters in Rye Brook, N.Y. had offices in major insurance centers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
